Zar the Star Toledo Concert reviews
Boyz To Men Outdated
Here is the rearranged and modified review:
Observations from my first-row seats at the concert are as follows. The N.C. Symphony orchestra truly stood out as the highlight of the evening. They delivered impeccable performances, especially with the much-needed string sections in many songs.
There were three major disappointments that led me to lower my rating. Firstly, the sound quality was notably poor and muffled due to the inadequate speaker system. Secondly, Boyz To Men's set lasted for 90 minutes, which included excessive talking and lacked a sufficient number of songs. The high price tag of $120 did not feel justified by the performance. Lastly, the band chose to exclude some of their biggest hits and instead covered songs by other artists, like a Lionel Richie track. Many attendees, including myself, were left wanting to hear iconic songs such as "One Sweet Day" and "Doin' Just Fine," which were omitted from the setlist.
I specifically attended the concert hoping to hear "Doin' Just Fine," a song that holds sentimental value to me as I own the video. Despite Boyz To Men's heartfelt performances in some songs, the overall experience was marred by the sound issues and omission of key hits that many fans were eagerly anticipating.
In conclusion, I would rate this concert a 3 out of 5 stars primarily for the effort put forth by Boyz To Men in some songs. However, the subpar sound quality and omission of beloved hits left much to be desired. I had hoped for a better outcome from the evening.
